Cutting Basics

  • Cutter comes with cutting blades

  • Refill blades can be purchase separate

  • Change blades by removing them at the 1/4” mark not the middle of the cutter because it will spring your blade guide

  • Cutter has basic photo size printed on it

  • Swing handle provides easy measuring and small storage space

  • No measurement is covered up because of the curved side.

Basic cuts:

8 1/2 x 11 cardstock:

Basic card:
#1. Cut in half at 5 1/2” folded in half
#2. Cut in half at 4 1/4” folded in half
   
#3. Postcard: Cut in half at 5 1/2” & 4 1/4”
   
#4. Layering on top: Cut basic card and layer with
pieces cut 10 1/2” & 5 1/4” and then 4” & 8”
   
#5. Layering on the bottom: Cut postcard above
to use as back layering and then cut card at
5 1/4” x 8” folded in half
   
#6. Or 4” x 10 1/2” folded in half
   
#7. For scrapbooking border cut center out of card
stock. Remove center to use to back your photos.
