#771 – SU General Session At Sea – July 25, 2019

The NEW Holiday catalog will go LIVE September 4, 2019.  If you are on my mailing list (active customer) you should receive your copy in the mail by the end of August.  If not, you can pick one up at an upcoming event.

As demonstrators, we can pre-order from the Holiday catalog a month early (in August).  That gives us time to create samples to share.  Plus, another big perk is that we get to order at a minimum of a 20% discount!  LOVE a discount!

SU generally hosts one general session during our incentive trip.  When it is a cruise, it is often held early in the week, during an “at sea” day, and it is open to demonstrators and their first guest.  SU announced the 2021 incentive trip destination, an Eastern Caribbean cruise, Royal Caribbean “Symphony of the Seas”.  It currently is the largest cruise ship.  The 2020 incentive trip was announced last year and it will be a land trip to Maui.  SU tries to rotate trips between three geographical regions:  Europe, North American and the South Pacific.  Hawaii is being counted as the South Pacific.  So the 2022 trip will probably somewhere in Europe.

During the general session, SU had a Q&A session with the leadership staff.  Questions were sent in ahead of time.

Shelli Gardner and her entire family,  are always very present on our trips and accessible for a chat or to answer any questions.

Sara Douglass, Shelli’s daughter is the CEO for SU.  She brings a young and fresh perspective to the demonstrator base.  Sara is an awesome and compassionate leader!

During the general session, SU shares new product and has lots of give-aways.  I received the punch as a prize patrol gift.  The stars were my gift from spinning the prize patrol wheel in the Hospitality Suite.   The two stamp sets were gifts as part of the “all attendee give-aways”.   This is even before the night’s pillow gift.  The gifts were crazy wonderful!  We feel so spoiled!

What would a session be without sharing new product and samples.

Love the new “Still Scenes Bundle” with “Snow Globe Shaker Domes”.

If you don’t want to use the “Still Scenes Bundle” as a globe shaker card, you can just use the Snow Globe Scene Dies to create a card.  The trees die cut in foil paper really make them “pop”!

How cute are these dies?  The pictures are not the best because I’m taking a picture of a screen from a distance.

I’m leaving for a four day retreat up in Madison this weekend!  Stay tuned for pictures and a FB Live on my customer FB group, Stampahowlic Stampers.  Lots of fun, work and play will be had!

Winner for today’s drawing is:  Beth Thompson
Look for happy mail!!!

Thursday Smiles…
