#867 – Borders Abound – Fri., June 12, 2020

I fell in love with this set when I first saw it! It reminded me one of the border sets that was part of the SU catalog over 20 years ago. It was designed by Kimberly Cook as part of her million dollar in career sales milestone.

All four cards use the same techniques: Emboss Resist & Watercolor Wash

INSTRUCTIONS
Faux Emboss Resist. Use large brush tip aqua painter to create wash. Make sure completely dry and then use VersaMark to stamp border image over wash. Add gold embossing powder and heat set. Cut strip Just slightly larger than border image. Cut small strip of DSP and use dimensional to add to card base, just above bottom of card. add watercolor wash strip just above small strip, but use SNAIL to attach so that it sits right on top of card base. Cut strip of DSP top fit rest of card base, but slightly shorter. Attach with dimensionals. Use Lovely Label Pick A Punch to create tag base for sentiment and size to fit sentiment. Punch hole with handheld hole punch.
