Work with What You’ve Got
If you’re looking for a simple way to add variety to your projects, start by sifting through the supplies you already have! With just a few sheets of cardstock and your trusty Paper Trimmer, you can easily create three unique designs to highlight stamps of every size from your favorite set.
For all of the cards above, we started with:
  • The Moving Along Stamp Set
  • The same ink colors (Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Real Red, Smoky Slate, and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink)
  • Smoky Slate Cardstock (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″; 21.6 x 14 cm)
  • Whisper White Cardstock (3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″; 9.5 x 9.5 cm)
  • Neutrals 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper in Smoky Slate (3″ x 5″; 7.6 x 12.7 cm)
Helicopter Card
No trimming needed! Stamp on the Whisper White Cardstock, use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the Smoky Slate card base, then attach the stamped cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Car Card
Cut the Whisper White Cardstock into four squares measuring 1-7/8″ x 1-7/8″ (4.8 x 4.8 cm) and stamp. Attach the Designer Series Paper to the Smoky Slate card base with Stampin’ Seal, then adhere the squares to the Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Train Card
Trim the Whisper White Cardstock into three strips measuring 3-3/4″ x 1-1/4″ (9.5 x 3.2 cm) and stamp. Attach the Designer Series Paper to the Smoky Slate cardstock with Stampin’ Seal, then adhere the stamped strips to the Designer Series Paper using Dimensionals.

INSTRUCTIONS
Die cut cloud edge from So Much Happy Dies onto Thick Whisper White cardstock. Use as stencil and set down onto separate piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Use sponge dauber to add Balmy Blue ink onto Whisper White and then move cloud edge down.  Slide to left or right to stagger clouds and repeat.  Continue down panel until desired cloud coverage is met.
From the bottom of the Whisper White panel, use a different sponge dauber to add Just Jade color.  Lighten as you get closer to the bottom of the clouds.  Use Balmy Blue again, if needed, to blend the Just Jade smoothly.  Stamp birds in Balmy Blue onto clouds.  Use Stitched Rectangle dies to create open spaces onto card front panel.  Line up over background to figure out where helicopter whirls and train steam need to be stamped directly onto background panel.  Die cut same rectangles into Foam Adhesive Sheets and cut down to fit behind front panel.  Use remaining pieces to help back rest of card.  Remove black from Baker’s Twine and knot at end.

So much kid cuteness!!!

INSTRUCTIONS
To get the two tone colors in the glasses, take the stamp and put it on the edge of the ink pad to ink it where you want it, then flip it around and put the uninked part of the stamp on the edge of the ink pad in the second color you want, then stamp.
